Winter clean up has begun.
I have no entensions of doing a typical ‘winter tear down’ but I do plan on doing some clean up on the Corolla. For starters, I yanked the heater core. Since I bought the car, its never worked and was completely useless so in the trash it goes.
Google Plus
Google+ has been all the rage in regards to Social Networks for the last few days. Im going to save judgement until I see how it pans out, however, its off a to a good start. If anything can be labeled as a “Facebook-killer” its this. Perhaps not now, but give it two years and it’ll be giving Facebook a run for its money. That said, if you are on Google Plus, feel free to add me. If you are still looking for an invite, let me know. I should have a few invites left; assuming Google will accept them. Bringing back Turner Field events. You’re welcome.
For the past year, everywhere I go people are asking me if we can go back to Turner Field. My answer has always been no. After the success of the Thomson Airport event we reconsidered the possibility.
Chad Copeland, Howard Smith and Myself ( Mostly Chad) have successfully negotiated with Turner Field to be able to put on 3 events before the end of the year. We have the approval of Turner Field and the Fire Marshall. We have a lock on 3 dates the FOERST being in August so we have to work fast.

Chasing The Dragon Hill Climb
This past Sunday, Sir Blevins and I headed to the Chasing The Dragon hill climb held by the SCCA. Ive watched a ton of hill climb racing on Youtube, but this was the first time Ive seen it in person.

When it comes to birthdays, my mom has a brilliant system that allows you to remain young. Its quite simple. Pick an age that you don’t want want to surpass; say 30 years old. With each birthday after that you add a letter to the end of it. For example, rather than 34 years old, you are 30D. Rather than 40 years old, you are 30J and so on. Boom! The Fountain Of Youth. My fountain began this past Sunday at the age of 30A.

This is what I saw yesterday afternoon. A string of small, fast moving, storm cells were moving through the area. Although they looked menacing, they didnt produce any funnels or damage until after they passed over us.
Rhoad Family trumps Rapture
With Spring upon us, it was time for the family to get together and enjoy the sunshine and good food. So Amanda and I packed up the girls and headed to SC despite immanent doom.
