Early B-Day present to myself.

Haro_BMX_673

I went out for a Redbull and came back with a 2008 Haro F3.
After wasting $150 and 15mins of ride-time on some piece of shit “Tony Hawk” bike from WalMart I returned it, got my money back, and picked this 1.5 year old Haro up for less than the Tony Hawk bike. The difference between the two is amazing. For starters…. weight. The Tony Hawk was in the ballpark of 40lbs!! Haro….. 22lbs. The gearing on the Tony Hawk required an olympian to get the bike rolling from a dig. Haro…. the complete opposite. Read this article to understand why department store bikes are crap and UNSAFE!

Im not really fan of the Yellow, the seat needs to be replaced, and it obviously needs a good cleaning. However, it has quality Haro parts on it, so even though its older than the Tony Hawk bike it’ll last much much longer.

Next step….. health insurance. LOL.
