Atlanta has the best fans on the FD Circuit. Period!
Of course Im a little bias. Every year we step up our fan-game and this year was no exception. With 4 foot tall drawings and illustrated thumbs-up signs that lit up at night, there is not another stop on the Formula D circuit that hang with us. Period. This year was slightly different for me in the fact that I didn’t have to ‘work’ the event. Typically, Im doing media or running a booth throughout FD weekend. Although,my media responsibilities this year lay with MotorMavens, all I had to do was simply watermark, and upload Twitter pics through the weekend. Since I do that anyway, it was a breeze and I was able to actually enjoy the event itself and the company of good friends. Here’s a few pics from the weekend. The whole gallery is at the bottom. Studio Rhoad’s coverage of the TO Event.

This past weekend, the boys at Traction Optional were at it again with their Drivers Only event cleverly named “Leave YO Girl @ Home“. However, this time they took it to the next level and lengthened the entry for both the solo guys and those running tandem. I have personally driven this course and it is gnarly to say the least. 3rd gear entry and catching air over ‘the hump’ was common place. More importantly, it provided for some great pictures! Studio Rhoad was honored to have three photographers and this event. On top of the great pictures, I found it very interesting how each of the three talents covered the event in their own way. With that said, Studio Rhoad would like to send out a huge thanks to Robert Caen, Ben Hagopian, Leon Borden for their time and coverage of the event! Additionally, everyone who was rockin’ Sisu stickers! Thanks for the support!

Rhoad Rash at ESN

The shocks in the Corolla have been fighting a losing battle every since I bought the car. They finally gave out at the Elite Summer Nationals event. Additionally, the OEM diff decided to go out as well. It was all around bad weekend for the car but we still had a good time. At one point while out to eat, Blevins had us laughing so much that our food almost went cold before anyone had even taken a bite. Good times.
