Plans for Halloween weekend.
Its Halloween this weekend, however, I wont be dressing up or going trick-or-treating. Instead, I’ll be heading to Holly Springs, MS. Drift411/NASA is providing the insurance for the event which means I’ll be there as more of a safety stewart than a driver. So, unfortunently, the Corolla will be sitting this one out. Never the less, Im still really stoked about getting another chance to hang out with the T.O. crew. Especially since there’s is going to be a Halloween after party.
Our first and only event of ’08 is this weekend.
Im pretty stoked about this weekend! Its our (Drift411′s) first and only event of the 2008 season; The Elite Drift Nationals. The whole event is in conjunction with the Elite Summer Nationals which is, dare I say it, some-what like NOPI only on a smaller scale and actually worth going too. Hundredsd of show cars. 40+ drift cars. Thousands of people make for one hell of a party.

Elite Nationals Show & Drift Event locked in
Over the past 5 years, Chad and I have been busting our ass in regards to hosting events. This season will be our second season under the Drift411 banner and we’ve decided to take it very easy for once. Our original plan was to host only 2 to 3 events and spend more time getting our cars ready so we could actually drive. After all, the reason we started hosting events was to obtain more (free) seat time. However, it didn’t work out that way; the complete opposite in fact. But despite all that, I have good news. I received a call last night which will lock us/Drift411 in for the Elite Summer Nationals Car Show & Drift Event which is scheduled for August 9th and 10th of this year. We had the pleasure of working with Joe and Holly from Elite last season and are honored to be invited back. Not only does this fill one of our spots for the ’08 season, but it gives us an excuse to raise some hell
