Cody is looking to sell or trade his S13 hatch and move on to a new project. I’d really like to trade for a 1J/2J swapped SC300 with a manual transmission, although I may be interested in other RWD cars as well (350Z, GS300, etc). 

Car starts up every time with no issues and runs extremely smooth. Exterior is in very good shape, although it does have a few dings which are to be expected for a car of this age (slight cracking around the fenders from rolling/wheel fitment too, but nothing too bad). No AC but heat does work (although it makes a clicking sound when the fan is turned on, still works fine though). Interior is in good shape for a 20+ year old car, dash is clean/has no cracks, only flaws are hole in the drivers side carpet (covered by floormat) and cracks in the rear seat plastics from cutting to fit around cage. Full interior (including rear seats) is in place. Power windows/locks still work fine. Car has no sunroof.

Blevins stopped by this past weekend to help me finalize the D680. Afterward we jumped in his B16 powered CRX and headed to The Dragon. The last time I road shotty while on the Dragon was in Ryan’s Prelude. It was a little sketch to say the least. But Blevins CRX, which was sitting on Tein coilovers, was really damn impressive. For the last few weeks now, a few of us have been planning a trip to the Dragon. Well after receiving news from the guys at XS Power it turns out we are going to be waiting a bit longer.

Rock Slide closes Tail Of The Dragon:
Work to clear a rockslide that closed U.S.-129/SR-115 is expected to begin early April. The Tennessee Department of Transportation will let an emergency contract to clear the slide on Monday, March 29. TDOT qualified two specialty contractors, Pacific Blasting Demolition Ltd. and Phillips & Jordan, Inc., to bid on the project. Both contractors offer specialized experience in rockslide clearance and stabilization that is needed to repair the substantial and complex slide on U.S.-129/SR-115.

RIP Atsushi Kuroi.

Veteran D1 driver Atsushi Kuroi has passed away after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Kuroi was popular not just in Japan, but in all the countries where he drove. Anyone who’s seen him drive knows the kind of talent this man had behind the wheel of his Nissan One-Via. Besides being known as a great driver, he also made a name for himself with his River Side tuning shop in the Osaka area. [Source]

After several weeks, I finally got access to our websites again. We didn’t fix the router though. Instead we just bought a new one. LOL Whatever works right?

Time to catch up….

First and foremost…… Christmas.
For the weeks prior to Christmas I had been working to get rid of the Lexus and buy a newer Jeep Grand Cherokee. I came down to S.C. that weekend for Christmas with the expectations of finishing up the paper work and driving it back home. Come to find out my Granddad paid for the whole Jeep!! I was floored when he told me and was on the verge of tears. No one has ever done anything like for me before. He then surprised me yet again by telling me he bought me a car trailer too!!! Are you freaking kidding me!! I just lost it. Check it:
Ive never felt so humbled in my life.

It doesn’t stop there though. On top of all that, my parents jumped in added a lot of stuff including a tow hitch, pulling a dent out of the door and newer tires on the Jeep. That doesn’t even include the new wheels, tires and electronic brakes on the trailer. Seriously, what more can an amateur driver ask for?

I had a stack of post-it notes lying around, so Amanda’s 6 year old, Allie, and I put them to good use. We built the Mario above on the office wall. In the middle of building it, I started to feel a little bad because I realized it would have been much cooler if I had put it on Allie’s bedroom wall. So I took a few minutes and sketched out a few ideas for her room. We came up with a flower, butterfly and a few others in which she decided to go with the butterfly. In regards to her room, the post-it note art is perfect. She doesn’t have a whole lot of posters or pictures up on the wall, so this what a quick, cheap, and colorful solution.
