Really late Christmas post
After several weeks, I finally got access to our websites again. We didn’t fix the router though. Instead we just bought a new one. LOL Whatever works right?

A better use for post it notes
I had a stack of post-it notes lying around, so Amanda’s 6 year old, Allie, and I put them to good use. We built the Mario above on the office wall. In the middle of building it, I started to feel a little bad because I realized it would have been much cooler if I had put it on Allie’s bedroom wall. So I took a few minutes and sketched out a few ideas for her room. We came up with a flower, butterfly and a few others in which she decided to go with the butterfly. In regards to her room, the post-it note art is perfect. She doesn’t have a whole lot of posters or pictures up on the wall, so this what a quick, cheap, and colorful solution.
Smoke and mirrors.
Picked up a manual steering rack and FC side mirrors for the Corolla from my good buddy Andrew. Can’t wait to bolt them on.

For all you guys that know me and some who dont Ive been invited to the pro am nationals in Irwindale Ca for Formula D. This has been a last minute thing at the moment all I have going for me is Nexen Tires backing me with rubber. At this point I’m taking anything donations would be amazing I roughly need 1700 bucks in gas so theoretically if I can get 400 people to donate 5 bucks I’m set. Its a long shot but who knows, anyone who donates will be entitled to getting their name put on my car if they desire. Thanks in advance guys!

The old chrisRhoad.com design just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Additionally, a lot of people (who apparently are still stuck in the ice age) still use Internet Explorer (looking at you MartyMartyMarty). And well, the old site design wouldn’t load in Internet Explorer.
Dragon slayer! – Preview Vid
Its been about 6 years since Ive been to the Tail Of The Dragon. I could kick myself for waiting so long to return. I forgotten just how much fun it can be. Thankfully the fellas at Contour.org help me refresh my memory this past weekend with a two day trip. Its was nothing short of insane. Two full days of balls out, chaotic, driving through some the best mountain passes in the country. Tail Of The Dragon and the Skyway just to name a few. In case you live under a rock, the Tail Of The Dragon is the curviest road in the US with 318 turns with in 11 miles.
