I am not, by any means, a big fan of NASCAR. It just bores the hell out of me, especially now with all the new rules and regulations that are being implemented. Bristol Motor Speedway, however, is different and I will be there this weekend.

A couple of weeks Amanda got in touch with the Marketing Director of Bristol Motor Speedway on Twitter. Long story short…. he’s hooking us up with great prices for the Nextel Cup Series tickets; about $50 off normal retail price. On top of that, he said if we can make it up for Friday night’s Nationwide Series Race (aka Busch Series), he’ll give us free tickets to that too!! Score!  So this weekend is going to packed full of redneck, hillbilly, tail gating, Budweiser guzzling, steering wheel stuck in the left turning position….. hoonage!!

Needless to say, I won’t be attending the SEDA Private day this weekend. Even though I would really like to. The way I see it, I can skip this event, save some money, give the Corolla a break, and have it freshened up for the next event. Not to mention, Amanda and I really need some time to hangout. We’ve haven’t done that in quite some time.

Either way, we will definently be attending the Nashville event next weekend which I may, or may not, be driving at. I haven’t decided yet.
