Ive been at my job for a little over a year now. And in my work I tend to work with high resolution images and files which require a pretty decent computer. Well, the standard computer for this office is a base model Dell desktop which has less processing power than my phone; seriously.
Last week, after much begging and pleading, I was approved for a new computer. (ie There was a lot of extra money in the budget that had to be spent). I ended up getting a new 24″ iMac with all the bells and whistles along with a 23″ Cinema display for a duel monitor setup. And….. about $2K worth of software. It was like Christmas! Unfortunately, work does not have the proper security software for the Mac, so Im not able to hook it up to the network or to the internet. Thus… its nothing more than a jukebox right now.
Regardless, I thought I would show you guys around my little cubical. “This is where the magic happens” as they say. For now anyway. I believe they are moving me to another department and office on the first of the month.

But if nothing else, you’ll be able to stay up to date with the industry faster than ever before. Oh…. and download a free desktop client. It makes tweeting much easier; trust me.  Ok, onward to the cool car-tweeting people……..
