Y U No Mantry?
Atlanta has the best fans on the FD Circuit. Period!
Of course Im a little bias. Every year we step up our fan-game and this year was no exception. With 4 foot tall drawings and illustrated thumbs-up signs that lit up at night, there is not another stop on the Formula D circuit that hang with us. Period. This year was slightly different for me in the fact that I didn’t have to ‘work’ the event. Typically, Im doing media or running a booth throughout FD weekend. Although,my media responsibilities this year lay with MotorMavens, all I had to do was simply watermark, and upload Twitter pics through the weekend. Since I do that anyway, it was a breeze and I was able to actually enjoy the event itself and the company of good friends. Here’s a few pics from the weekend. The whole gallery is at the bottom. You can also check out some proper coverage on MotorMavens (Day 1 / Day 2) and of course S3 Mag.
I’ll be uploading pics live from Formula D Atlanta. Here’s where to find them.
Its seems like a lot of people will be missing FD Atl this year. If you are one of those poor, unfortunate souls, you may be happy to know that I’ll be uploading pictures (perhaps some video) live from the track all weekend on behalf of MotorMavens. To see them, simply follow me on Twitter and/or watch my Twitter Pics page for updates.
Cody Wellons’ S13 For Sale in Atlanta
Cody is looking to sell or trade his S13 hatch and move on to a new project. I’d really like to trade for a 1J/2J swapped SC300 with a manual transmission, although I may be interested in other RWD cars as well (350Z, GS300, etc).
There’s fans. Then there’s FANS.
We win.

Quick recap of Triple Threat 2 RD1
Following FD Atlanta, Southeast Drift held their first of three Triple Threat events in Atlanta. And with a lot of the FD drivers still in town, you can imagine how insane it got. Ive seen so many people at a Turner Field event. All in all it was a blast although I really didn’t get the car dialed in until my very last run of the day. That and the damn exahust fell of twice during the event. I have a whole ‘nother post coming on that though.

Time to catch up – Friday night of FD Atl weekend
Ive been insanely busy the last couple of weeks. Freelance work has nearly tripled which has left me very little time to keep this site updated. So inlight of that, Im going to streamline some stuff in order to catch up.
