Our first and only event of ’08 is this weekend.
Im pretty stoked about this weekend! Its our (Drift411′s) first and only event of the 2008 season; The Elite Drift Nationals. The whole event is in conjunction with the Elite Summer Nationals which is, dare I say it, some-what like NOPI only on a smaller scale and actually worth going too. Hundredsd of show cars. 40+ drift cars. Thousands of people make for one hell of a party.

Its always a good day when the crew at Clashproduction releases a new video. They have spectacular shots joined with perfectly matched music and rhythm. Its hard to keep my interest for an entire video of this length, but these guys never fail.Take a look and enjoy.

SEDA’s Triple Threat Rd.3 Recap
Hella fun weekend. Not so bad weather. Hundreds of people. Lots of new drivers. Trading paint. Getting on TV……. all in a days work.
SEDA’s Triple Threat Rd.3 this Saturday
Im kinda sad to say this, but this will be last event of the Triple Threat Series. 
Good news is, however, Marcos and the SEDA boys have something cooked up already.
As for this weekend, I have no doubt its going to be a blast. Hopefully, if all goes well, we’ll be broadcasting live and the feed will actually stay up this time. The feed kept dropping last time due to power issues with one of the generators. If that same problem persits, I’ll mount the camera inside our Corolla and turn it on while we are taking laps. Hell… I might do that anyway. So, def check out the <live> page on Saturday. Oh, and I promise to take better pics and vids this time around too. Ive def been slacking on that.

Well, due to some technical issues and lack of planning, we haven’t been able to broadcast from the last two events. However, it looks like Im going to have better luck this Saturday when I attend the Triple Threat event at Turner Field. If you are unable to attend, but don’t want to miss any of the chaos, go to the <broadcasting page> on Saturday and watch everything live from your keyboard-drift-chair 
Also, for what its worth, I’ll probably be broadcasting my drive to Atlanta Friday night as well just to do some preliminary tests.
Formula D Atlanta 2008
It wasn’t nearly as hot as it was last year. I can back looking like Sebastian last year. This year was much more chill too. Not to mention Amanda‘s first ever FD event. Not feeling obligated to take pictures, organize a booth, construct tents or any of that jazz was very relieving. I was actually, for once, able to sit back, hang with friends, and enjoy the event. I did take a few pics which you can see [HERE] along with a few samples at the bottom of this article.
