For the past year, everywhere I go people are asking me if we can go back to Turner Field. My answer has always been no. After the success of the Thomson Airport event we reconsidered the possibility.

Chad Copeland, Howard Smith and Myself ( Mostly Chad) have successfully negotiated with Turner Field to be able to put on 3 events before the end of the year. We have the approval of Turner Field and the Fire Marshall. We have a lock on 3 dates the FOERST being in August so we have to work fast.

Over the summer of this year, Dustin St. Hilaire filmed a couple events at Pacific Grand Prix, in Kent, WA.
The two events were an open drift in July, and “Tandem Menace” in August.

He used a T2i with the stupid stock lens.

Took a trip to Holly Springs, MS this past weekend for Traction Optional’s “Tribute To Muscle” practice event. Being there on business (Drift411 provided the insurance for the event) I didn’t take the Corolla with me. However, my good buddy Jerry Farabee let me take his SR powered S14 out for a few passes. Here’s a couple of clips from those passes.
Thanks again to Jerry for letting me thrash his car and to Traction Optional for putting together one hell of an event.

Its Halloween this weekend, however, I wont be dressing up or going trick-or-treating. Instead, I’ll be heading to Holly Springs, MS. Drift411/NASA is providing the insurance for the event which means I’ll be there as more of a safety stewart than a driver. So, unfortunently, the Corolla will be sitting this one out. Never the less, Im still really stoked about getting another chance to hang out with the T.O. crew. Especially since there’s is going to be a Halloween after party.

You guys have a good, safe weekend. I’ll have pics/vids up on the site sometime early next week.

The 1st car out is Nakamura of burst, and the white S15 is Osaka native Kawabata of GP sports fame. I almost certain I will never see something as awesome as this in person again. I find it harder and harder to be impressed these days…but this is just downright….raw. While watching I counted 34 cars on track at once. I went home happy this day and I didn’t even drive well.
