Yesterday the server that all of my websites, including this one, run on crashed. This isn’t the first time this has happened and I am absolutely livid and completely fed up with our hosting company (icestorm.com). They’ve really screwed me over this time. When they brought the server back up earlier this afternoon, the uploaded the last backup they had of this website. Not a problem right? WRONG! The last update they had of the server was from November of 2008!! Yea, over four months ago. That means all of the new additions Ive added to this site (and others) were gone.

So with that in mind, you will probably be receiving some random emails (if you are subscribed to the RSS) fore I have to rewrite and reupload all of the posts that were deleted over the past 4 months. The good news is that I have found a new hosting company and will be moving this site (and all the others) over to it very soon. Hopefully they’ll save me the frustration from problems like this.

Over the past two weeks, we have had a rash of server problems and hacks, none of which is our fault. The short and skinny of this post is to tell you that my internet at home has more or less blocked me from my own websites so I’m unable to post from there (Im currently posting this from work). I’ll try to keep posting from work when I can, but in the mean time please bare with me while I hate on technology. For a more detailed explanation of the problem, read on…..
