The return of Petey!

That’s right. Petey has returned and he brought his pose.
Before having toys hanging from your toe-hook was the in thing to do, there was Petey. A plastic, $2, Dove decoy that I picked up at an Atlanta Wal-Mart. On that faithful night, Me and some of the dM’s were out roaming the streets, in our typical fashion, which usually ends up with a Wal-Mart run. I never had an intention to purchase anything that night. It was more of a act of bordem to pass the time. However, when Cody pointed out the box of Peteys in the hunting section, I had no choice. For the next year after that, Petey was attached to a bungee cord and hung from the rear toe-hook of my, now sold, S14. Together we raged war at drift events all across the southeast.
After selling my S14, I purchased a 1990 Jeep Cherokee which then become Petey’s new perch. Although it didn’t last long. During a trip to Virginia to visit Amanta, Petey lost his vice-like grip and fell of the back of the Jeep; never to be found again. That was two years ago, and Ive been on the look out for another Petey ever since, but with little luck.
But then the great ShawnShawn posted a thread on dM informing me that his local WalMart had them on the shelves. The very next day, I went to my local WalMart and what do you know…..
I got a little carried away
I felt like Ace Ventura – Pet Detective
So… I bought 5 of them. LOL.

In short, the legend lives on! However, I doubt he’ll be straped to the toe hook of the car this time. Thats kinda played out in my opinion. I’d rather he be inside the cab as a co-pilot or gunner.
