You can never have enough real estate.
Screen real estate that is.
Its been documented that I have a decent amount of computers and/or monitors, but believe it or not my setup still didn’t suite my needs. For the design work I do, I need as much desktop real estate I can get. It makes it much easier and even more productive to get things done. So when one of my favorite electronic retainers, Tiger Direct, had a sale on 25″ I-INC Monitors for only $200, I had no choice but to snag one.
But lets be honest, a 25″ monitor that only cost $200 is obviously not going to be of very good quality which I get into a little more later on in this post.

I’ve been thinking about getting a better setup for my media. You, sir, have a really nice setup. I’m still using a macbook pro. That’s all I’ve got, but I make it work.
Any qualms with it so far? That’s a deal if I ever saw one. 22″ widescreens are still like 220.00-260 range that I’ve found.
So far so good. Although, when looking at a completely black image on the screen I can see shades of blue and green on the edges. It may be the Mini-DVI adapter Im using that is causing it. I opted for the cheap $15 one rather than the $25 Apple one. But, during normal viewing I can’t tell the difference.
All in all, I like it. Definitely worth the money as long as you dont expect a high level of color accuracy.
